ANDREAS VINCIGUERRA

Andreas was born in Malmo, Sweden and began playing tennis at the tender age of six. In 1998, after capturing the European Championship title, reaching the final of the Australian Open juniors as well as the SF in Roland Garros Juniors he had already compiled an outstanding junior career finishing No. 6 in the world junior rankings.

By 2001 Andreas had entered the ATP’s top 50 players holding a ranking of 33 but, an injury-filled 2002 slowed his progress. However, by August 2005 he was back on track as a semi-finalist in the Kia Motors Tennis Cup in Cordenons and, a quarter finalist in Geneva a few weeks later. In 2006 Andreas reached the finals in Duesseldorf, Trani and Sarajevo and raised the trophy in Manerbio. We hope to continue to see Andreas go from strength to strength.
